Committee

Birch Hill Pre School is a registered charity (Charity Reg Number 1020275) and has an elected committee, to lead it.

The committee is normally made up of  carers and parents , whose children attend the Pre-school.

Members of the committee are elected at the A.G.M (Annual General Meeting), which is held each September. The committee consists of a number of positions, all of which have varied skills requirments.

Whilst fee’s cover wages, rent and refreshment, Fund Raising Events are vital to enable us to purchase new or repair  older equipment, toys, restock supplies etc.

The committee welcomes anyone who is willing to donate any time, gifts or money, however big or small

Throughout the year, the committee organise various events to raise funds.

For Christmas (2006), the committee organised a fantastic Christmas Party and the previous committee opened a wonderful sensory garden! ( Please see events / news pages for further details.)

As time really doesn’t stand still, we have always got to look at how to better ourselves, whether this is facilities, toys or extra qualifications for the staff, thus ensuring the Pre School is to be able to offer our children the very best start in life!
